This window was commissioned in memory of a missionary priest and the theme is pilgrimage and peace. St.James was one of the fishermen apostles (symbolised by the net and fish) and the pilgrim's staff and shell are his attributes. The migratory swallow and globe are symbols for a missionary, who spreads the message of peace worldwide.
